A family trip to La Jolla, San Diego, to celebrate the birthdays of Samuel, 15, and Ivy, 7, over the Fourth of July weekend. The family enjoyed beach activities, including building sandcastles and chasing waves, thanks to their hotel’s location right on the water. They had a delightful dinner at the sushi restaurant Blue Ocean/Harumama. The weekend concluded with a special photoshoot for Ivy, who wore a light blue flowery dress and a star-headband, with a pink backdrop and a large number 7 to mark her birthday. The trip was filled with love, laughter, and memorable moments.

A Spooktacular Smash Cake Photoshoot: Baby Aaliyah's Ghostbusters-Themed First Birthday Bash

October 31st is a day full of tricks, treats, and this year, tiny ghostbusters! Little Aaliyah, the tiniest member of our family, celebrated her first birthday in a ghostly style that would make even the bravest souls in the afterlife jealous. Turning one on Halloween, her parents decided to mark the special day with a Ghostbusters-themed smash cake photoshoot, and let me tell you, it was a spooktacular affair!

Today, I want to share a special photography session that took place on a beautiful ranch. This session was all about a little cowboy named Ezekiel celebrating his first birthday in style. Decked out with a dashing cowboy hat and jeans, Ezekiel had an absolute blast during his smash cake session. And when I say "smash," I really mean it – he completely demolished that cake!

Once Kiki was done delivering a joyous session, she was ready to change to match the yellow theme of her cake. The aftermath of the session was: Umi 1, Cake 0.

2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Weekend Two

Easter '23 family gathering. The matriarchs of the Ramirez and Crews families joined (most) of their children and grandchildren for Easter.

Many confetti-filled eggs were broken over many unsuspecting heads, and a ton of burgers and carne asada was consumed.

Jasmine and Greg continued with the Miyazaki-theme for their baby shower. The day was full of food, games, and plenty of joy.

Jasmine had a fun Totoro-themed maternity session. She also took advantage of the printing services I offer, using some of the photos to decorate her baby shower. She used a poster from this shoot to celebrate the gender reveal.
